EVANGELISM, DISCIPLESHIP, AND CHURCH PLANTING
Sharing the gospel with the people of Liberia
Liberia is a country where Christianity holds significant cultural influence, but there are also many challenges within the religious landscape. Although most Liberians identify as Christian, many do not have a Biblical understanding of sin, salvation, and who Jesus really is. Some churches prioritize rituals like attendance, baptism, and financial giving over Bible salvation and Christian growth. Additionally, many religious leaders exploit their congregations for personal gain rather than faithfully guiding them in God's truth.
Many who desperately desire to know God are deceived by a false Christianity that takes their money and still leaves them empty and alone. Liberia's youth are turning away from religion as they see its emptiness and hypocrisy. Islam is quickly gaining a foothold. Traditional African spiritism still holds many in fear. In remote areas, there are still communities where individuals live and die without ever hearing the Bible message of Jesus Christ.
God has placed a burden on our hearts to work alongside Godly Liberian men to establish churches that faithfully preach the Gospel and to proclaim the true message of love, peace, and hope found in Jesus Christ.
